The CBC had a piece on the radio about the residential school apology which included one on one apologies to individuals. I was legit ugly crying on my drive home. Trudeau is not perfect and could do better in some areas but these apologies/settlements are definitely a step in the right direction.

I never understood the wailing over President Obama’s so called “apology tour”, even though it was no such thing. As this video and story show there is great virtue and strength in admitting your country’s errors, apologizing, and working to do better.
