It’s absolutely not an STI with a WRX motor. The whole heart of the STI was the advanced drivetrain - unless they’ve snuck the DCCD back into this car without us noticing it’s still just a fancy WRX.

If you read the article in its entirety, you’d know that the author had the audacity to write this sentence:

There’s nothing appealing about this and it rightfully got heckled and booed when it was unveiled in front of a crowd a few months ago. There’s more to the STI than brakes, bolt on stiffening, and seats. It’s missing LSDs and DCCD, which makes it decidedly nowhere near an STI. This is merely an option package made in

Mesa day startin pretty okee-day with a brisky morning munchy, then BOOM! Gettin very scared and grabbin the next plane and POW! Mesa here

And Jalopnik has also become a caricature of itself. The latest website updates make the site virtually unusable.

“In fact, this huge dually pickup is such a unique proposition that you just don’t see them that often outside of the slow lane of the freeway, towing a house.”

Maybe that’s a bit over the top? A “serial killer” mentality is a bit unfair; pretty much everyone in motorsport was inurred to accidental death in that period. You probably would not have had motorsports in that era without that callousness.

I can’t help but think the design looks mildly Korean. Getting Kia/Hyundai vibes, especially that side profile.

*raises hand*

BMW really has become a caricature of itself.

The most stupid thing the Lambo did was going over to the other lane at 0:33 when there a motorcycle in the lane already.

A long time ago when I was a young shithead I passed 12 cars. I know its not a good excuse but I just got off work and was excited to get Mass effect 2 at GameStop.

Seen this as well. And traffic stacked up for a 1/2 a mile because the first person behind the slow vehicle won’t pass after more than several opportunities to do so. And by slow, I mean 10-15 mph below the speed limit.

Seen situations like this on a number of occasions. First person behind the slow moving vehicle is hesitant about passing and following cars start doing the double or triple pass

I daily drive a CT5 V Blackwing manual. I thought I’d buy it and only keep it a short while, but it has quickly become my favorite car. Traded in a C8 for it and got rid of my Model S.  Everyone who gets in the car leaves with a smile after experiencing the torque and the sound … having a bad day, just put it on track

Well, there are many cars at $100K that are nowhere near perfect.  So there’s that.

Part of the problem is that people backing into spots these days have their eyes glued to their dash instead of looking where they are going.

Can’t believe I had to scroll this far to find a hellcat.

Cadillac CTS V wagon. It doesn’t look like a high performance monster, but under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged LS making 556hp. I believe you could get a stick in the sedan and coupe models if that’s a deal breaker for you. If you want to experience a high performance V8 before they become scarce, make it an LS.

Seems an easy answer:
