1. Used e63/new e450 estates. The inline six is coming soon
why have they never upped the power? I know “balance”, but adding 50-100hp with the corresponding suspension changes can’t be too much given two decades.
luxury isn’t just about a soft ride. It’s about the quality of materials, steering feel, handling, weight distribution engineering, etc; anything that makes the car more than an appliance/econobox is luxury. BMW has built upmarket cars since the ‘6os but they used to be tuned for driving enjoyment vs the isolation…
as others have pointed out, that’s been the way to tell a sport-package equipped car apart from those without for a long time. I think the chrome framing works for navy or black cars (I drive a e61) while shadowline makes sense for lighter colors, silver, white. Black window trim is definitely the more aggressive look
hey it’s that darn pig from angry birds
wow now they’ve REALLY gone full Audi/Lexus. The angry alien face isn’t too bad and more aerodynamic than I would’ve guessed, but those exhaust are triggering on a BMW
BMW is just tryna get into the world of higher-profit margins by selling a car based on the 5-series/Ford Mustang for $110,000 and the interior could’ve come out of the new 3-series. If BMW had some Kugeln they would’ve built an M1 with the S85 back in the late-2000's to have something for the R8/SLS
not sure where you see that. I love how low the beltline/rear end on this car is, which is the opposite of how the s-class coupe is built
aw they tried so hard to make us think xc90!!
I think BMW wouldn’t have had 99% of the problems they did with the public if they just waited to master electric power steering before they threw whatever they had ready in the F10. BMW was famous for the feel and tactility of their cars more so than the numbers. And the steering feel still sucks in most of their…
Not nearly so stupid as when this joke went straight over your small head
from your 80's coke dealer who just couldn’t decide between a 512 and a 911
that’s what you get with an open diff!
BMW’s one trick ponies compared to the Dodge Charger...man
maybe the new ones, but an e39/e60 would still eat a new lx for ride/handling
don’t talk shit about new Mini til you’ve driven an F55 with a stick
Ridge Racer 8 Crinale
My 2011 Subaru Legacy! Great communicative steering with the hydraulic rack and turns under 3k at 90mph on the highway...AND weather won’t stop it
