“he’ll do it again but it might go wrong.”
Dangerous thinking indeed. I hope we don’t reach the point where people are punished for crimes they could have committed, or might commit in the future.
“there is no statistical difference in collision rate between drivers who obey the rules religiously and those who don’t”
“I suppose by your logic randomly firing a gun off in the middle of a neighborhood isn’t worthy of serious punishment as long as you get lucky and don’t hit anyone.”
That doesn’t mean people won’t buy it...
I think if you post this same reply again people will start to take your side
What in the name of god is a fajita soft shell? You mean a tortilla???
No it’s Becky
In Soviet Russia, all cars are equal, but some cars are more equal than others.
I think we’re talking about a road trip situation here, and unless you’re traveling alone, stops generally include extra time to go to the restroom, buy a snack, etc. 10 to 15 minutes isn’t unreasonable in that case.
Batteries in cars now can store enough energy to move their own weight, and the weight of the whole car around them. If they couldn’t, electric cars wouldn’t be able to move at all. So yes a larger battery will weigh more, but will store more than enough energy to compensate for that additional weight. That excess…
True...I mean of course I’d rather go to a real deli for a sandwich, but for a quick meal Jimmy Johns ain’t bad
Disagree...I will go to Jimmy Johns over Subway every single time
I would imagine they probably had to drive back to the start line so it’s probably more like 40-50 miles...
Ok you win, BEV are tha best thing eva made! Zero emishuns woo!
I think that’s a reasonable request on any future vehicles they make, but they could make a big difference with just an OTA update on current vehicles by requiring hands on the wheel at all times.
Yeah I can agree with some of that at least. I don’t know if eye tracking is necessary, but reducing the time-interval for having hands on the wheel is probably a step Tesla should take.
“Because people make stupid, dangerous choices that can harm others. We shouldn’t let people make those harmful choices.”
I did read it, and pointed out that it ignores coal mining, transportation, and emissions. In California that is a fair assumption to make, but in most of the rest of the country, that assumption is inaccurate. If you want to make an assumption that applies to less than 1% of the world’s population, then that’s just…
“And it’s mostly irrelevant unless you were asking “Should I burn coal or gasoline in my fire pit?”. That’s a nice, yet lame, attempt to try and make gasoline vehicles look far cleaner than they really are.”
