It might just be my imagination, because the first betas were so much slower, but it definitely feels quick now. (Probably) available to the public on Sept 10!

No argument here. I think it looks like a huge ad dump. Unfortunately, given the way things work now, this is the only way I could put it together without it looking worse. We're asking for more control over this, and hopefully we'll have it in the future.

At first I rechecked my ad block settings. Took some time for me to realize they were part of the new format. But even now I still don't care for it and I skip over most of it too because it looks like every other ad on every other site i've ever been to.

For some reason, my brain registers them the same way as yours. I don't know why, but I see this and my brain goes, "meh, ads" and skims. Then I realize I've scrolled to the bottom without actually processing any of it...

I agree to a point. But it's kind of ass-chapping to see all the new kids sign up and get "introductory rates" when if you've been a loyal, never-behind-in-payments customer there's no reward for that.

Wow. That is exactly what we do. You may have to weed out the ones that are constantly on the phone with their kids or the sitter, though.

I'm married with three young children and have had a few neighbors sans-kids, some of which I got to know quite well. If you have a dog simply walk the dog around the same time kids are out in the street and it can help strike up a conversation with parents (that sounded creepy, didn't it?), or simply take a walk

It is funny you mention this because I have sort of the reverse of this problem. I say sort of, because I, like many of the people on our street have kids. There is a young couple sans kids a few houses down that are really nice and I would like to involve them in more of our cookouts and such but I think 4 screaming

hmm, maybe try to focus on you're immediate neighbors, like the ones right next door. Have a bbq where you invite some family over I don't know if anyone in you're family has kids but either way then offer for the neighbors to come over let them know you want to be pals and get along. It doesn't have to be ALL about

You need to get the kids out of the picture. Hold a few adult-level parties, maybe even coordinate some teenager to babysit all the kids at one of the homes so the adults don't have an excuse not to come.

Ask neighbors if they know of a good dog obedience school, and then take your dog there and make him/her/it kid-friendly—a valuable skill for any dog to learn. Once you graduate, take your newly socialized dog for a nightly or regular weekend spin and strike up conversations so you can show off your dog's new

This is exactly what I want to have done! Looks great!

Indeed, if a class for Java/programming for Android was featured, I'm not sure why a good Objective-C one wasn't mentioned, especially when Stanford's is so popular on iTunes U right now.

That's just silly if there are no injuries. In Texas you must move your vehicle off the roadway if you can and there are no injuries. In Houston HPD will just tell you to get a 'Blue form' (accident report) and trade information with the other driver.

And they bait you in Illinois. they have on the dan ryan the "accident" zones and the sign says to go to them. But it's just bait to give the cops a reason to hit you with a nasty heavy fine.

There's also Evernote Clearly, which does a better job than the regular clipper of making a clean, readable article. Not as great as Pocket and the others, but good if you really want stuff in Evernote.

...and thanks, BTW for the compliment. That was more than 3 years ago and it still looks really nice.

The Evernote Web Clipper is great, but I don't really see it being for the same purpose. Evernote and the Web Clipper are great for clipping pages you want to hold onto for later, make notes on, or otherwise use. The apps above are more for things you just want to read during your leisure time. Though if you wanted

I just use my credit union for everything. Under my one account number, I have a savings account, checking account, my credit card that only gets used for 1 bill every month, and my Roth IRA. My boyfriend who's living with me has a separate account number with me where we have a joint checking and a joint savings

Al... We did EXACTLY what Kit is suggesting here. We used Granite Tile and it worked out beautifully. I'm far from a DIY expert and it wasn't beyond me to lay the tiles. The bullnose and corners are pre-fab...the only thing I had to do extra was a custom backsplash (but that's just because I wanted a granite
