One online retailer has a shipping center here where I live. I was browsing their want ad and saw that their warehouse workers were expected to climb flights of stairs carrying heavy boxes in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This wasn't hearsay, this was in their own ad.

That's probably yet another reason her husband is looking for a divorce. Imagine when she starts working on making her ass match...

It's pretty mind boggling, honestly. Especially "safe" academy no-brainers like Tin-Tin.

It seems like there would be ethical barriers preventing doctors from taking part in this. Obviously we surpassed "do no harm" quite some time ago...

Would this mean that PETA would be pro-death penalty?

/me sits quietly amid the chatter, thinking fondly back to the lawn darts of better days.

Yeah, if the Russian contribution to the porn industry is any indication they really wanna protect young girls. Like a stone wall... or at least a stone pillar... in the butt.

It seems obvious that pet ownership is contrary to PETA's ethos.

Pretty sure I played the phantom menace pod race part on the n64 and logged plenty enough hours of bust a groove and ddr. Does the Kinect really make 10 year old games new again?

I wonder if he'd feel the same if Islamic conservatives had more say in government. I always ask people when they say that they want prayer in schools what they will do when their kids have a Muslim teacher.

Penetration before kissing? You'd think these 'players' were learning about sex from wanking it to porn... *cough*.

I'll see your pandas and raise you mad cow... MAD COW!!

Thanks for the reply. I don't think you have to concern yourself with this ruling causing employee pharmacists to dissent from selling contraceptives. It's very specific to the stocking of drugs. I can understand the concern though.

Probably so, and thank you for pointing it out. I'll be more careful. One reason we HAVE these misconceptions about race is that if an upper class christian does it they are a pillar of the community. That's a shame, because frankly they're no different than the worst judgements of the worst stereotypes.

And yes, to prevent any misunderstanding, I believe anyone that would charge 22 percent interest for anything, much less a fertility treatment, is beneath any reasonable standard of humanity.

No, it never even crossed my mind. Sad that it would need to. I don't think ethnicity has anything to do with greed and the will to abuse the majority to enrich a small minority. It's been done by every ethnicity that exists. God knows politicians who promote these behaviors aren't fans of Judaism.

Not really. Anyone who lends money would charge 22 percent if they could. There's a just a lot of those type people out there lending money and they compete. They aren't dark pronouncements, they are just observations about dark things people do to one another.

Charging 22 percent interest isn't moving money through the system. It's more like a money boomerang that brings back more than it left with. That excess drains our economy of excess in the lower economic classes, sending it back up the chain, meaning they are less apt to buy something else without returning to the

Money lending is shady by its very nature, and government oversight has done very little to change that. The root ethic of the business is indentured servitude. History has shown us what kind of people are drawn to such modes of profit, and how they behave toward society.

And if that is all we can manage to make, then projects like this are science fiction, at least for now. It isn't like Kennedy saying we can get to the moon, the actual physical mechanics for that were understood, and the materials were already there.
