The reason for suspending production is to see where this story ends up before they spend any more money on the season.

How big must have the internal revolt gotten over the weekend for them to make this decision so suddenly? I mean there had already been several high profile objections to it before it even premiered, yet they still went ahead with it.

I think I recall the XFL using a SkyCam type setup as its primary play-by-play angle for its first couple of weeks. They abandoned it because while it made for an interesting view, it was terrible for passing plays. If there was any pass greater than 10 yards, the camera would be unable to move/zoom down the field

My guess is Leon will be operating his business like nothing happened next week. Both the witnesses cleared out, and Reggie in all likelihood had some sort of weapon on his person. Couple that with the cops likely not caring all that much about a dead pimp, and I think he skates.

Was it just me or did the positions in that sex scene between Paul and the actor not make any physical sense?

According to sources familiar with the situation, ESPN originally did not want the Barstool Sports name and logo associated with the new show, but caved after Barstool president Dave Portnoy insisted on the branding.

If Netflix doesn’t want to play by the old rules, fine, but the company should recognize that it forfeited the right to complain about Nielsen’s data the moment it chose to keep the true numbers internal.

Apparently he had thyroid cancer and put on a bunch of weight as a result. If recent pictures are anything to go by, he also seems to have lost a fair amount of the weight since filming this season.

With all this, it’s going to be even funnier when the whole damn plot of the season again ends up on Reddit months before the season premieres.

We’re all in agreement that this is going to end up being a Catholic Church level bloodbath by the time it’s all over, right?

“It would be hilarious if it weren’t so heartbreakingly disappointing.”

Plus, when you make last-minute edits like this, you imply that you weren’t portraying the violence for valid artistic reasons in the first place.

Is telling them apart really that complicated? I’m finding it remarkably easy, especially since only one of them is actually a major character. We’re five episodes in at this point, and Frankie’s only had like three solo scenes and when he does have a solo scene they provide some tell-tale sign like having him

Everything he said here seems intelligent and reflective, so fuck him I guess.

They’ve been developing this one since 2005, so that probably puts it in “Don’t believe it until they start shooting” territory.

Against my better impulses, I found myself actually liking Frankie this episode.

I mentioned this when the last trailer dropped, but I still don’t understand why the ad campaign seems to be deliberately hiding who the murder victim is. They should playing that up big time, making it one of their chief selling points.

A few days ago I decided to check to see how that funny Sam Waterston comment thread survived the transition. It wasn’t pleasant.
