Add me to the list. I can't handle this stuff anymore.

You can get this test in Canada but pay out-of-pocket. It's about $700 if I recall.

Fortuately I live in the countryside where I can where just about anyhing, but I really, really love a pair of plain black 2.5"-ish heels I have. They are latin dance shoes, and obviously made for moving and comfort. I can wear them all night. They were pretty cheap too, but well made.

I know I have been studying too long because it kind of looks like a histology slide. Specifically skeletal muscle.

Cool to know! It was still amazing and adorable though. :)

The "two cents" logo looks like boobs.

I managed to go to South Africa for the first time back in May. There was a park I drove through, and I wound up driving through a herd of elephants. Amazing.

I am Canadian. That just seems all levels of wrong.

So, are doctors allowed to make drug suggestions on the internet? Genuine question.

I think the problem for me is that there ARE side effects to everything. So saying something is "not harmful" is not really correct.

The problem is that home remedies can and do have side effects. Of course putting apple cider vinegar in your vagina can have side effects, just like pharmaceuticals can. Or douching with other things.

That is changing and has changed quite a lot. I'm only in first year med school, but the professor in charge of our pharmacology program is a pretty outspoken critic of the drug industry. We don't have too much influence (yet) from what I gather. I also live in Canada, though, so your experience may vary. :)

The response that Mulcair gave- I haven't seen the video but I'm sure it was not meant to be partisan but was meant to point out the idiocy of the statement. God we need to get rid of the conservatives.

If it helps you feel better, my grandparents have been married since the moment he got back from WW2, and they are the sweetest to each other. Always have been. They hold hands while they watch TV and a few years ago, he whispered to her (loudly, because she s hard of hearing) "you are so hot and sexy!" probably not

I'm also a med student- if they are practicing evidence-based care and we're all respecting each other as HCProviders, I'm OK with it. Just like any other practitioner, you need to know when to refer to someone with different training. I"m in Canada, and most of our midwives do a four-year program. Some have done

Nora, thank you so much for sharing.

The "3 more years of this yikes" is exactly what it is for him too. He's finishing up a masters but has talked about starting an enlightenment retreat, moving to Costa Rica, doing environmental research, going into politics, or relief work abroad. Or bike touring around the world.

It sounds like you really lucked out! Congrats! If he does feel at some point like he wants a career again, or wants to open a small business, or something else, will you support him? Not sure if you have discussed it, I'm just curious.

My partner and I will NOT have more children (he has 2 teenagers, and I took care of them for the past few years with him, before that I took care of my neices and nephews, and I was an egg donor so none of this genetics gotta have my own feeling) but he is still affecting my career now that I am in med school. So

Close to Alaska! Northern Canada. I chose a school where there's a direct flight 2x per week from his home (my home too) to my school.
