What’s combat in a Yakuza game like compared to Sleeping Dogs?

I wish there were more games that were even remotely kung fu related. You’d think China would be all about cranking out all sorts of games with their folklore, martial arts, and history. It’s all interesting and we have, like, a handful of games and series.

It’s funny, because at the beginning of that he mentions a Patron who bailed because he wasn’t covering games “people care about” or whatever. I had never even heard of Tokimeki Memorial, but I’m four hours into that. I will watch any review he wants to make. You’re not really necessarily watching for the game

I’ve been playing through the Zero Escape series. Maybe not the best choice in the world right now considering where the plot goes (the plot of games 2 and 3 end up revolving around a deadly pandemic, something that I did not know going in), but I’m too sucked into the utterly bizarre, twisty story to back out now.

Yesterday I bought several downloadable titles for the Switch Lite (the three Konami collections; Castlevania, Contra and Arcade are now $4.99 each; Space Harrier and Lightening Force (Thunderforce 4) for $3.99 each and Scott Pilgrim for $14.99). I already have Scott Pilgrim on my 360, but was missing one of the DLC.

Due to the stress of the past year, it’s been really hard for me to buckle down and focus on games enough to finish them, instead starting a bunch of games trying to find one that feels satisfying enough to help me relax, meaning that the list of games I’m “actively” playing has become absolutely massive. Certainly

Since beating God Of War (2018) earlier this week, i’ve been breezing through Spider-Man: Miles Morales. GOW was absolutely fantastic, and Miles Morales is fun enough. But with this being a long weekend for me, I think it’s time for me to finally jump into Persona 5: Royal. Pray for me and my future free time lol.

My boyfriend has been wanting me to play Dark Souls, I’ve played a bit but I’m going to try to play some more. He just likes to watch I guess, but he won’t give me any hints, and I’m the type of player that needs a waypoint. I’ll give it my best shot though!

Trying to finish Yakuza 0. Apparently I’m at the final story quest so I went back to do side quest stuff. I’ve been doing the real estate quests and in doing that like a dozen more side quests popped up which I wasn’t expecting so I might not finish it for awhile. Plus there’s a pocket racer race that I cannot win no

In Dark Souls 3, I posted up outside Dragonslayer Armor and helped people beat that boss to get those sun tokens. I had basically never played online co-op in a souls game before, and it was actually a blast! My record with the boss was 29 wins, 9 losses due to death of the host, and 5 losses due to my own death.

I don’t paint, but I think I feel the same way when I’m in the middle of a good LEGO set. Unfortunately, LEGO is pretty expensive if you consider the price compared to the amount of time you get out of a set. But a big set that takes a bunch of sessions to build can be super relaxing. I struggle to focus in most areas

I saw a portion of a certain 6 hour review of Tokimeki Memorial on YouTube and decided to stop in the middle so that I could dust off my Vita to play the PS1 version. It’s weird finally getting to play a game that I think has been referenced many times in other games, anime, and manga for its dating sim elements and/or

I had some friends recently discover Rocket League, despite the fact that I’ve been playing casually since it originally dropped. They’re blown away by the amount of cosmetics I’ve amassed in my collection. I have to keep reminding them that cosmetics were acquired quicker and in greater quantity before Epic changed

I’d finish the game first. Come back to the Weapons and whatnot. They’ll always be there if you want to do them, but you might find you’re over it once you’re done with the game. Otherwise, that’s a good recipe for bailing on the game and leaving it unfinished (speaking from experience, haha).

She’s been an incredibly wonderful and nice boss/collaborator. I also briefly got to meet Aleister Black (also very nice!) and I would like to say I played it cool but it was more like Ant-Man geeking out over Captain America in “Civil War”

Working on Hollow Knight still, which is pretty much all I played last weekend despite having a handful of games in-progress right now.

More painting, honestly. I’ve just been really enjoying painting feral vampires lately. *shrug* We were discussing good pick-up games at the club and somebody mentioned Ravenfeast, so now I’m fighting the urge to buy a bunch of skeletons in lieu of vikings. I already have three armies in progress, I don’t need a

I probably should finish Yakuza Like a Dragon, but it seems so much work since I am a completionist. Currently I am at the beginning of chapter 11 but need motivation to continue!
Does anyone like to share some reasons why I should definitely pick it up again this weekend?

Nothing but a little rest. Heading into 2021, I was hired as the video editor for Thea Trinidad (FKA Zelina Vega in WWE)‘s revamped Youtube gaming channel that goes live this weekend, so it’s been a lot of tireless working and some sleepless nights getting content ready. It’s been a daunting but wonderful opportunity

Shenmue 3, which I’m about halfway through and is not nearly as bad as people made it out to be.  It’s not great, mind you--just not the complete disaster the internet has made it out to be

Still chipping away at everything I was last week: Deep Rock Galactic, Ys VIII, Enter the Gungeon, Dark souls.

In DS, I poked around Darkroot Garden a bit, finished Blighttown, and now I’m in Sen’s Fortress. I haven’t played in a few days because I needed a break from the intensity. I think I’m gonna try to get through
