If I had to rank all of the James Bond themes through the years, I almost think Snake Eater is the best one. Yes, the pastiche of a James Bond theme is better than the actual James Bond themes. And so much of that comes down to Harrell’s voice.

One of the best investigative articles of game music journalism I have ever read. I have always wondered about non-Japanese singers and musicians working on Japanese video games. There is quite a contingent of ex-pats in Japan working in that industry.
I played Castlevania: Symphony of the Night many times and never…
Good job ash :)
This might be one of the best articles I’ve read on this site, and I’ve been around these parts off and on for a decade.
I love everything about this
Yeah, I’ve been treating Yojimbo well, so I might just do that. I just made a weapon for Tidus, screw the Chocobos...
The lightning is easy. I have done everything but Tidus' chocobo racing...
My attempt to tackle my backlog continues. I started playing Horizon Zero Dawn earlier this week, so I’ll probably keep plugging away at that. I played about 10 hours of it way back when it first came out and I’m not sure why I stopped. I remember really liking it and I’m enjoying it again now. Probably just got…
You can still game. I think your grandparents might be into this new thing called the Wii. It’s taking the world by storm right now, and I hear old people love it.
Uncharted 2, from the Nathan Drake Collection.
EDF! EDF! EDF!
Not much for gaming this weekend. Im going to see my grandparents for the first time in over a year, properly masked and distanced of course.
I’ll be playing FFX. Finishing up Blitzball to get Wakka’s Sigil. Dodge some lightning bolts, chocobo racing, and butterfly avoiding.
I’ve been side-eyeing a playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition for a while. But, I’ve been able to convince myself to not do it, because I’m gonna wanna replay everything when the newest one gets a release date.
Man, in middle school I watched Zoids: Chaotic Century like every morning before school. Good times, good times.
even as I bought Steve for Smash Bros., I’ve been playing the Mii swordsman with the Travis skin non-stop, and I don’t think that will change this weekend.
why would you get rid of a *wishlist*?? Why would you make it harder for people to remember the games that they wish to give you money for? I’m sure that having a wishlist on the Switch has been responsible for drastically increasing my eShop purchases.
I cannot fathom why they would get rid of the wishlist. Do they not realize that I’m incapable of remembering all 7 of the games that I’m waiting to go on sale?
Same here, I never check the store and always just go straight to my wishlist to see what’s on sale.
