Dammit. Now I have to go down a Superego YouTube rabbit hole...

I am going to be one of those idiots saying “Red ___ Standing By” on voice chat at the start of every match. I apologize in advance.

I randomly started playing Death Stranding again, and now all I want to do is play Death Stranding. I’m still baffled by how much I enjoy it. On paper, it sounds like it should be the dullest thing in the world, but I find it incredibly satisfying. Trying to make bigger and bigger deliveries (and/or multiple ones at

Yakuza Kiwami 2. Is it weird that I’m more invested in the Four Shine storyline than the main one?

My backlog thanks you for this contribution...

Hades being a roguelike/lite/whatever does mean that you can squeeze in small chunks of gameplay, too. I’m sure once you get far enough, it’ll start to take a while, but at least as far as I am, a run doesn’t take very long.

You can squeeze it in.

I just got my Western Star 49X in American Truck Simulator late Wednesday evening (it was in-game the day after Western Star/Daimler Trucks North America revealed it in the real world, thanks to a collaboration between them and ATS developer SCS Software, which I think is awesome.)

Still working on The Outer Wilds, so I’m hoping to get at least one decent block of time for that this weekend. Playing in short chunks works okay, but I find I forget what I was trying to do or how to navigate to a tricky location if I don’t play for a couple of days.

After work, I’m going to get Squadrons. And then I will play Squadrons.

I picked up the Walking Dead Telltale Definitive to play through in October.  I didn’t play any of the last season, so I’m looking forward to that.  I’m still recovering from some major whiplash from getting rear-ended a few weeks ago, so it’s been a pretty good excuse to not do anything, but I’m at the point where

I would be playing Star Wars Squadrons with a flight stick, but they built a 20% deadzone in to X,Y axes which makes it unplayable with a HOTAS/flightstick. There’s an easy fix in a config file, but it triggers EAC. Really disappointing. :(

Finish my file, too. I’m on my third attempt and am also the farthest I’ve ever been. But I forget where I am and I haven’t played since... probably last fall. That always happens.

Time to just read a synopsis, get refreshed, and power through. Maybe. Maybe later.

If the sword is slow, then I can’t wait to see the spear and fists. I used the bow for about five seconds and bailed on it. It’s so awful. I mean, I’m sure it has some merit, but I’ll never find out.

I got to the first boss, so far, but she’s been a pain. Maybe I’ll beat her soon. I only play for like 15 or 20 minutes

Starting tonight I’ll probably make a sprint for the end of the main quest line in Skyrim. Alduin’s out there and that motherfucker has just the most rend-able face. Focus is always the hardest part. I end up doing some nonsense or just walking around looking at stuff. But not tonight!

Then I dunno what’s on deck. It

Saturday we’ll be at the in-laws so that means the Switch will probably be getting use that day. I’m working my way through Mario Sunshine, but I don’t think I’ll 100% it like I did with 64 because I really don’t want to bother with all those blue coins. I’ll see how many I find on my own though. Either that or I

I’ve really just wanted to spend the weekend playing video games and laying about, but I then said I’d fix a chair for someone and agreed to help move some lumber with a friend. I at least hope that I can get some logs that I can mill up into boards. That would be fun, but only if its a hardwood. If its just something

Some FIFA 20, some Ghost of Tsushima and some Brütal Legend

Started playing Genshin Impact last night, so I’ll probably play more of that at some point this weekend.

That said, it’s also the month for spooks, so I’m gonna at least get around to playing and hopefully finishing Alien Isolation over the month.

Its much more on the trance like side of things than relaxation. Alot of the sounds are comforting to me on that album. I definitely can't listen to it while driving, otherwise I will/have start to drift off.

Um, wow!!! Yes, that gets three exclamation points. I am super digging all of this. Already sharing it out on the intertubes. Thank you!
