I ended up firing up the New World alpha last night. I expected to play for maybe an hour, but I played for a little over two. I don’t think it does anything particularly exciting, but I did enjoy the setting and the MMO grind, which it has in spades. For some reason, equipping a hat made my mustache disappear. They…
I will take that under advisement! :)
Skryim. I now essentially control all criminal enterprises, being the head of both the Thieves’ Guild and the Dark Brotherhood. Vex and Devin are easy to put off, but the Night Mother, not nearly as much so. I’m considering pursuing training as a bard, as that would allow me to travel even more freely than I do now.
I will be playing some Ghost of Tsushima tomorrow, looking to wrap up somethings around the Golden Temple and then head south to explore more. Then my good friends are about to go on an extended road trip so I will be going over to their place to grill and see them off. I suspect I may be too hung over for games on…
I’m not sure what I’m going to play this weekend. I’ve got so many things on deck, Paper Mario, The Messenger, Quake Arcade, Control DLC, Animal Crossing, plus a million other things. It’s been a long week again. OT started sometime yesterday and I am doubtful about my ability to mentally unplug from work this…
FFXIV mostly, however my wife got Animal Crossing on the Switch and despite my best efforts, I started playing. I still don’t get it, the game is the most mundane, absurdly horrible thing I could fathom as a game concept, yet here I am worrying about my mortgage, taking care of the yard and making sure I don’t piss…
please no, no more jumping thru rings i am so bad at it
I had read somewhere that New Mutants will have a $20-30 streaming option from home.
The last movies I saw in theater pre-corona were Birds of Prey (opening weekend) and the Weathering with You fan screening. Yes, I dragged my dad to both and have the posters hanging in my studying area.
I had a tough day yesterday, so no video game playing. I am going over to my friend’s house tonight for some grilling and am looking forward today. I will get to some more Ghost of Tsushima this weekend.
if they’re not taking payment at one window, and handing out food at the next, assuming anything they hand you (cup, bag, etc) is not safe is the functionally paranoid way to go.
This one is actually my favorite one. I love the challenge plus the rising slime. I also like that you can lose besides not placing.
I typically get top 5 without taking any short cuts. So many people are eliminated as is. I came in dead last yesterday in slime climb and I was still 8th.
I can’t do slime climb
I’ve noticed that a lot of people take those shortcuts while I take the normal route, and I still make it to the top first. It’s really just about avoiding the crowd and not running and bouncing around more than necessary.
Yeah, I watched beta players who’d figured that strat out well before the game even released to the general public, but even in the beta people were picking up on those sort of things and by the end of beta it was getting hard.
I want the answer to the fruit matching game to be announced by cannons shooting whatever fruit is the answer into the middle of the stage.
slime climb is turning into the ninja warrior of this game.
Once we had Slime Climb for the second event, instantly dropped the player count down to 6 people. Fastest finals I never got to be a part of.
