That’s fair. I do a lot of scratch cooking and baking, and when I’m doing things that have multiple elements, I’ll often need a new spatula for each thing. Don’t want the one that stirred the raw chicken touching the green beans, or don't want the heavily spiced thing I stirred to go into the less spiced thing.
I was just thinking this.
Seriously. Whaaaaaaat?
Oo, nice, that looks like a good one. Outside of Spatula City! Spatula City! Spatula City!, I’ve had a lot of good use from this one:
Your landlord really sounds like a grinch.
Gold star.
Regional scone tensions are REAL.
They’re definitely not dry ones, from the look of the recipe. Probably more accurate to call them “scones” as they seem part way to fluffy biscuits.
Sega does what Nintendon’t, and by that I mean can you imagine the interface needed to spell out Nintendo?
I’d make that deal!
Ugh, that’s awful. I really worry about small businesses, and especially restaurant and bar related ones. Without a strong safety net--national, state, or even local--everywhere is damned if you do, damned if you don't right now. If they shut down, more people are out of a job and they might close for good. If they…
Send some of that rain back west, we could use it. I’m going to check my calendar in a minute to figure out which brain numbing meeting will be the best to bake during, because there’s no way we can eat all the peaches we have before they go bad. Going to try a batch of scones first.
Those carrots were FIERCE I tell you.
After replacing the dish soap dispenser on the dishwasher last week, I replaced a light bulb and then had the middle support for the crisper drawers in the fridge break yet again, so I have a part on orders for it and likely will replace that at the end of the week. One veggie over the line, I guess.
Oh jeez, that sounds stressful. I hope it ends up being a manageable storm!
I have also been playing through the backlog and started far cry 5 last weekend. I decided that it's a mechanically fun bad game. Like, being a murder ninja plays really well! But there's so much else around it that are bad. Progression systems, in game economy, enemy spawning and AI, bullet sponge animals, vehicle…
Diet does help, and I feel pretty solid about that. Lots of fresh veggies, more lean proteins than not, way less fried stuff while working from home, a good mix of healthy snacks like nut mixes and the occasional treat. Weight right now is not an issue.
Titanfall 2 is so worth it. Nioh has been in my backlog since it came out, I think. I’ve pretty much committed to not installing new games until I get through a few that have been sitting there for a while. So, time to commit to Nioh!
Until it got really hot, we were doing pretty well for dog walks, so it’s not that I’ve been entirely immobile. I’m mostly wanting to work in some stationary bike cardio and work on push ups and basic core strength—I don’t have a great lower back and I think getting a better base core would begin to help correct that.…
