Now playing

I hope you have a really chill weekend, maybe with some quality baked goods, after that TLOU2 review. We’ve been slowly watching past seasons of GBBO that we’ve already seen, which is a very cheerful comfort watch, especially with Mary Berry still around. I repeat every “absolutely scrummy” or “cram jam” she says.

I’m disappointed ND hasn’t allowed player gameplay decisions influence game story outcomes yet, even in subtle ways. It could really make good use of their style and mechanics beyond just locking a player into their assigned ND movie role.

I’m down. Safeword is “Smough”.

Hmm... Maybe if we can get that back room remodel done...

Oh, jeez, you expect me to actually think this through? Can’t I just skim the notes and skate by with a B-minus?

Oh, you and your perfectly logical ideas.

Yeah, same era of TV, I think. But I can’t rationalize just replacing it at the moment. If a friend needed a good TV? Definitely could give it to them. But just decide to replace it? Not while other home projects are being planned and we might need other new appliances sooner rather than later. Still, I know I'm just

RIGHT? I’m not alone!!

I wasn’t totally sure I’d be tempted to get a new system, but now I have to find a way to break my TV so I can justify buying a new super fancy TV that would justify getting a PS5.

It looks like it joined the Avengers and came back in time to fix the timeline.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

“Tonight in our lead story, millions of people instantly turned into Fry, demanded Sony take their money, even as their wallets burst into flame and their bank accounts emptied in a flash.”

So fun! While I didn’t play the spin off games, all of the main line games are some of my favorites! I was sad the ps4 never got a follow up to the remake of the original. It was fantastic!

New R&C, GT7 with campaign mode, new Spider-Man... They’re tailoring this to take my money. If they announce a special launch color edition for the hardware and a Yakuza or Persona game for it, my money’s as good as spent.

Seriously! I still crave them from time to time.

Agreed. Local PNW precipitation was lower than average overall this winter, leaving most areas in a drought status, which we really don’t need. A good June rain gain and run off from Canadian mountains could do a lot to cut down on a smoke filled August.

We’ve been getting plenty of needed rain in the last week, though yesterday afternoon provided an evening of sun and everyone decided to walk their dog at the same time in my neighborhood. More rain is on the way as I type (just checked the radar), lasting through next week. Typical NW June. Summer doesn’t really

Yup, I feel you. We have some home needs to tackle in the budgeting soon, but after that I’m pretty much going to try to maximize retirement savings. Because even though my retirement reality may end up being “meteor strike” I may as well have a goal to work on.

I just paid my car off this week, too. Feels good to have that done with! I’m also in a place with enough savings to survive a few months if the job went away. For the first time since I started working, too... Only took me 20 years to work far enough up the ladder after two or three recessions and steady cost of

Started the day with dealing with a puking dog, which instantly kicked on my worrying mode but he seems to have gotten it out of his system, so fingers crossed it was just one of those random dog moments. Considering he’ll try to eat just about anything once, especially in the yard, who knows what he might have
