Who came out of draft day looking worse in the eyes of the average NFL fan, Tunsil or Ole Miss? Smoking weed is nothing compared to the pettiness of haggling over a star player’s mother’s electric bill but we’re talking about the average NFL fan. . .

However, on the plus side, it will take longer for the hideous new Prius to fill orders, so there’s that...

Marchionne said he did not understand how the Model 3, Tesla’s first mass-market car, could be sold for 35,000 euros ($39,600) at a profit.

I can confirm that this is dank usage.

You’re right: the car’s headlights make it look like it’s crying.

No offense to the DS crew but this was the best highlight write-up of all time.

Twitter never had a clear path to monetization. There are plenty of examples of companies making money from selling cars.

There are a lot of smart people putting their money on Tesla having an easier time starting from scratch than the old-school automakers fixing all of the problems they’ve accumulated over the years.

The idea that Tesla can’t easily raise money is laughable. If they went out to do a financing round they’d have it closed in a month on their terms. This is a company with over $30 billion of equity value to play with and a relatively small financing need.

That’s right: GM’s first EV was right around the time the Compaq Presario was the height of PC technology.

Sorry man, if you say you’re just making an educated guess then I have to go with Bloomberg on this..

Everyone in that line is full of hope about a lot of things :)

I’m not sure how up-to-date your information is but the $7,500 rebate is expected to run out in late 2018. Early Model 3 buyers are expected to receive the $7,500 rebate.

It’s a $1,000 refundable deposit and they’re securing a $7,500 tax credit which will run out. What you’re saying makes sense in general but these people are waiting for something that’s scarce.

“Listen, it’s not that hard to understand: tell the cook I want my toast to be offended by a Fuzzy Zoeller toast.”

Let’s see, he was a writer who wrote most of his works in Philadelphia, New York, and Boston and was then murdered in Baltimore but Baltimore claims the great writer as their own. Do you see the issue with thinking that Baltimore has as good a claim as any city?

I know people from Baltimore are very touchy about this subject but he did much of his work in Philadelphia. As I’ve seen it put before: Baltimore claiming Poe is basically “literary grave robbing.” The best argument Baltimore has been able to put up amounts to calling Philadelphia names. . . and Philly beat you at

It’s always fun to remember that Edgar Allan Poe had little connection to Baltimore other than that he died there mysteriously while wearing someone else’s clothes.
