Ha! I did not like this movie when I first watched it. Didn’t love it. And I remember really genuinely, preferring James Marsden over Ryan Gosling (which I stand by.)

Real winner and should have been nominated:

He wanted to make a movie about his daddy; but, his father was an unremarkable man. So, he stole the legacy of a talented musician and the history of Black Americans to elevate his father’s average life (and make some money).

Evans was always the best Chris.

While I wasn’t as mad about Green Book winning (worse have won) the director going out of his way to give a shoutout to Viggo above all others was terrible and tone deaf. Anyway, it’s done now.
