I have a really really strong opinion on the Ben-Hur remake: it is a stupid idea, it should never have been made, it will probably get terrible reviews, and I hope it bombs.

I don't think anyone has ever seriously argued that the problem with Ghostbusters '16 was that "women aren't funny".

I have absolutely no doubt that was cream of wheat. I have eaten enough of that delicious slop in my lifetime to know.

I'm fully convinced Podrick cannot die. He is literally unable to. He doesn't know how. No one could see Riggan's ability before, the true power of his imagination. His identity was wrapped up in a superhero costume, and as such, the only way he could

Like, nearly all the female directors mentioned in this article and the comments just… weren't very good. I've seen most of these films, and I have to agree that the DGA has picked 5 of the best filmmakers this year. Perhaps the only weak link is Clint Eastwood's American Sniper, but I'd argue that movie was held back

Even better: they kept the upside-down flag from the early Bioshock Infinite logo, so not only are they referencing that game's anti-american sentiment, they're showing an actual sacrilege on the American flag.
