They go to college for a year only because its required by the NBA, you used to be able to draft straight out of high school. For example, Lebron James? Kobe Bryant? etc...they came straight out of high school. Then the rules changed to one year of college required.

Those men that earn tens of millions of dollars playing a “Child’s game” almost always go broke or have financial troubles down the line.

Secede* didn’t want ya getting too excited

Pending rape charges....this is the year. If he sucks, gets injured, whatever...I’ll succeed.

Born and raised in Chicago. That’s why I’ve got the Bulls knowledge too I cheer for both every year. I’m glad we could turn a Jezebel thread into a deadspin discussion. Eh, what the hell. And in conclusion, as the saying goes, “fuck Nene”

I currently live in DC (Wizards fan) just you mentioning the name Nene hurts. Joakim was atrocious this year. Gasol and Taj were consistently way way better. I don’t know what the hell happened to him. I’ve never seen a player miss so many buckets from 2 ft away

Hey man I mean no ill will in arguments, I love to talk about this shit. It’s honestly lighthearted. And exactly. Not a lot of people have access to ice rinks, skates, pads, sticks, special youth leagues, etc...Hockey takes some cash to pursue

Me too. Have fun occasionally being a casual expert on the NBA. Talk to you next May when you probably start watching it

>There isn’t a team in the league that would take him.

Arguing which sports require more skill than others is a rhetorical argument. In Basketball you have a 12 man roster. Arguably the hardest professional sport to get drafted in to.

Adidas still sells huge. There have been like 10 lines of DRose shoes now, and he is still the premiere player along with John Wall, and now James Harden.

As I stated below: how did that work out for Greg Oden, Bill Walton, Penny Hardaway, Tracy McGrady...etc....

How well did doctors work out for Greg Oden? Or Bill Walton. Grant Hill. Penny Hardaway. Amare Stoudemire. Chris Webber. Tracy McGrady. Yao Ming. Brandon Roy.

If Rose can stay healthy an entire season, they are easily an Eastern Conference champion contender. He was the MVP just four years ago. When he returned this year he did show signs of brilliance. Brick weighing them down....lol. Uhhhh I think those bricks are in the Bulls front court. Study up

Yep, they are everywhere. Even famous restaurants. As well as Artists. I guess we will just have to hate everything

>more popular in Chicago

He didn’t want to risk ending his entire career. Another tear and he is finished...for life. He had every right to come back and play when he felt comfortable psychologically and physically. His brother was the one spitting any controversy.

Yes. “Bro” huge NBA fan. Since when did injured = petulant? He’s one of the most mild-mannered players in the league. He doesn’t talk shit, doesn’t pick fights, doesn’t complain to refs...has no reputation of being that way....so where the hell is that coming from?

Nice catch, I did not know when the assault precisely occurred. That was the year he was actually fully cleared to play in March, but didn’t return. Only a few months before the alleged assault his girlfriend gave birth to his son for another odd tidbit. So if they had been dating for two years...it wasn’t the same

Women don’t play sports? Uhhh......
