I first started playing Destiny when it was first released back in September 2014. I am a solo gamer, but don’t mind playing the matchmaking stuff once in awhile. The problem here is not so much the micro transactions but the fact that Bungie turned around and started offering level boosters after telling everyone they were not going to do so. The Taken King expansion brought a certain amount of goodwill back into Destiny and to Bungie, but I’m afraid that the controversy…

Myself included. I may go back to Destiny when the next update comes out (i.e. an update with new mission and/or quests), but there’s plenty of other fun games to play right now, so we’ll see...

Zero dollars. Haven’t had to pay extra for these things, and hopefully won’t have to in the future, but with the direction this game’s going, who knows....
