I was ready to quit after reading about 7yr old/70yr old Trump but I pressed on. I deeply regret that.

Anytime anyone calls out his lying, either he or his supporters start loudly ranting about “JUST LIKE HILLARY LIKE ABOUT BENGAZI!!!!!!!!”, and somehow this justifies everything.

One reason is that the lies don’t stop so if the people holding you accountable are always scrambling to keep up with the lies it all becomes white noise. I mean, remember when he was outed as acting as his own PR guy? I mean, wtf?!?!

I don’t know if he’s a malignant narcissist or a sociopath or a psychopath, but whatever he is, he’s always been like that. You should read the Washington Post story in which he’s quoted as follows: “When I look at myself in the first grade and I look at myself now, I’m basically the same,” the 70-year-old presumptive

You know that once this election is over, if Donald loses, she’s history.

A friend of mine that works in hotel real estate biz in NY said that’s his “thing.” He lies so constantly and so blatantly, blowing everything way out of proportion, it has become almost an endearing quality...(not like endearing but like expected and tsk tsk). I 100% see that.

Ding ding ding. I dated one of those and the similarities between him and Trump are chilling. When I found hard, written out evidence that he cheated, he kept denying it and saying I was so “psycho” that I couldn’t process information correctly.

Yeah those stories are really telling because he reverts to some emotionally stunted 10 year old when he really gets called out because you are not playing the game his way.

Reminds me of this article, especially this paragraph:

I think this is one of the best explanations. The stories about him blatantly cheating at golf and getting super pissed at being called out on it kinda foreshadow this (from a GQ profile during the primaries I think).

His own ghostwriter, Tony Schwartz, said as much: “Lying is second nature to him.”

I’m no psychologist but I have worked for the obscenely wealthy and it is different than a pathological liar. When you are as rich, spoiled and sheltered as trump your perception of reality is altered by the fact that everyone around you is paid to say yes to everything you do and say. So when you say something that

You are correct but the nuance here is that he is a bullshitter and, as smarter people than me have noted, bullshitters don’t really sweat getting caught in a lie. He has long been known as a notorious bullshitter, inflating the value and his involvement of everything he’s even remotely associated with.

I’ll go further than that, I believe he’s a malignant narcissist (or narcissistic sociopath), and that malignant narcissists increasingly seem to occupy many [if not most] of the top positions within the GOP. Birds of a feather...

I think he’s pathologically addicted to having people hate him. Daddy issues, for sure. I’d ask my dad about it because he had the same affliction, but he’s dead. More times than not I think he passed it on to me, as well. Any problems with that, go fuck yourselves, you terrible bunch of assholes.

“He’s a grade-A coward, a sleazy punk, a slimy con man.”

When has he EVER suffered a consequence for his lies, tho? Never. So he’s just bullshitting. No big deal, really. Anyhoo, who wants to have dinner at Sixteen in the Trump Tower? He could set that up. Best chef ever. He stole that chef from a 8 Michelin starred restaurant in Paris. He’s YUGE! After dinner, you can tour

It's not a lie if you believe it.

I’m starting* to think Trump is a pathological liar. He constantly lies about trivial things, his lies are instantly and easily exposed, yet he continues on as if nothing happened. Take for instance all the supposed speakers at the convention. Right after he says Big Ben and Tebow will be there, it’s immediately shot
