I don’t know. It could be close. He got two newspapers to endorse him. What’s that you say? One of those is owned by Sheldon Adelson and the other the KKK?

“I fee like people are completely ignoring the fact that their is a solid portion of his own party that has committed to vote against him.”
Easy. Your country is full of terrified, racist, sexist assholes.
Black president
I’m sure they’ll declare it over and over again on message boards far and wide. And then they won’t do anything in the real world.
There are so many “toss-up” states going by recent polling that it’s terrifying enough. There’s a very good chance that Hillary wins but doesn’t get past 300, which would be the closest election since 2004.
I fee like people are completely ignoring the fact that their is a solid portion of his own party that has committed to vote against him. It’s not just columnists, look at the counties surrounding Philly. It’s hard enough to win a republican with 100% of your own part voting for you.
When the beat drops:
i mean...he’s fine...
There’s been a number of analyses showing that gerrymandering has benefited Republicans significantly more in the recent era. To be fair, this appears to be due to Democrants getting outmaneuvered or being asleep at the wheel rather than being “above” these tactics, but still. . .
Particularly since Republicans have spent years redrawing voting districts and disenfranchising minorities in order to end up in this position. If it weren’t for the fact that we are ALL paying the price I would definitely enjoy the schadenfreude. . .
There needs to be a ground game to dismantle the cult that is called the tea party. They are allowed to be in an echochamber of misinformation and hatred, and they are dangerous. Liberals did NOTHING to quell this during Obama’s presidency. Nothing. It’s a serious matter and the soul (and therefore future) of our…
The worst part of all of this, is that everything that we are forced to endure now (“lock her up” etc) are things that will be amplified throughout her presidency.
It couldn’t have happened to a bigger group of assholes.
The worst part of all of this, is that everything that we are forced to endure now (“lock her up” etc) are things that will be amplified throughout her presidency. It’s not going to be magically over once she wins and he loses. However impossible it might seem, their whorling will become ever louder, drowning out…
I am loving every moment of this. They push towards the deplorables, they lose support from moderates, they push to the moderates, the deplorables stomp their feet and don’t show up and they can’t keep their seats without base support. So Paul Ryan is stuck with two shitty options and good for him, he deserves all the…
I dislike Boehner but he can only be watching the television and thanking whatever dark gods he worships that he isn’t in the hot seat right now.
Out of everything that came out of this election cycle, the most baffling to me is the redefining of the word ‘endorse’.
‘I won’t campaign with him. I won’t support him. I won’t defend him. But I will endorse him.’ WHAT. DOES. THAT. EVEN. MEAN?
That pissed me off so much.
Well, considering I’m Black and almost every review I’ve read was written by Black people, including two Black historians, that is not an issue for me.
