I'm always surprised by how these nostalgia driven kickstarter games get bashed for staying true to their roots. I thought as fans and and backers, that what we want. I was a Yooka-Laylee backer as well and guess what, loved that game too.

AHA! a voice of reason! the backer demo was basically perfect as far as i’m concerned. if something went wrong between then and now I’m going to be surprised and disappointed.

I’m a backer and as someone who’s played and beaten all of IGA’s metroidvanias and put a solid amount of hours into the last backer beta (2018), I want to assure the fans that you’ll feel at home with this game. They really nailed the look, sound and feel of the other games.
