Upon looking at the amazon.com pictures of the USA SNES classic. The X and Y buttons look convex like A and B.

I just watched the video. he doesn’t look all that hideous. The legs are not that short and he’s very flexible/mobile. Not stiff. Yeah, the head is still bigger than the body, but not as exaggerated as that picture. Very funny looking dog indeed.
The Switch sold more units than the PS4 in the first month of release WORLDWIDE. you call that artificial scarcity????
Karen Gillan from Guardians of the Galaxy
Keep in mind Nintendo launched worldwide. Sony launched with selected terrotories with a high number of units in the US. So the Switch didn’t beat the PS4 on the first month in US. But it does worldwide since it sold through all 2.4 million units while Sony sold 2.1 million. The amount allocated to Japan is based off…
Nintendo Launched with 2.4 million sold in the first month. But their distribution was a worldwide launch last month while Sony and MS chose to launch in selected territories at a time.
Yeah. I expect Nintendo to release a new version. The decision is more likely because there is a particular part that is hindering a higher mass production and they want to redesign the product or actually get a better supplier for the particular part(s). There are assumptions that Nintendo is forcing the demand to…
Thank you for this post. It’s a great way to start the Sunday morning with something awesome as this.
I second the comment about getting a pair of joy-cons first and then a pro controller later. Some things to consider which went through my own decision too:

Not apart of Final Fantasy or even, it’s more so Final Fantasy Adventure is really Seiken Densetsu. Not the other way around. FF Adv didn’t come first. it was a translation of Seiken Densetsu 1.
I understand your points after reading through a few of them. They are good concerns. It’s just too early to kind of say something about it when the system is 1 month old. Yeah, the announcements are ports or retro games. That’s what happens when a system is still barely coming out and it needs games to push it…
Way to be an ass just because you want to drill some people of what you know as if you need to stand higher/taller than them. They just want it to be localize and support the devs, which looks like it’s the original devs (now called Brownie Brown). It’s fine to tell people what you know, but you don’t need to spew it…
Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2) was nearly completed in translation back in the mid 90s by an employee from Nintendo (Ted Woolsey, since Square was just across the street from NOA Redmond before Microsoft took the building). The game was already being advertised in Game Pro and other magazines and it was…
LOL
1. Triforce of the Gods/A Link to the Past. I totally agree with this, along with #2. This one seems to be more like the main base of all the themes, short music and items for the rest of the Zelda games. It was a big refresh after Adventure of Link and original Zelda.
Yeah, the device is too big to be pocketable. But the screen is the right size, not overly big. The DS and 3DS are small form factor and are pocketable and have two screens. They got two 3DS sizes and even the larger XL version fits in a pocket. For me, I use a shoulder bag for my tablet, phone and other essential…
This pretty much means damage control when they release a big game for a dying console. They don’t want to upset fans who refuse to buy the new console. They could release the game only for the dead platform but the newer system with the fanbase who want it on the Switch will wonder why Nintendo doesn’t release it.…
Nintendo is not one to take risks with going the business model of taking a lost because they’re the underdog currently when it comes to third party support. The other two consoles are based on having massive third party support which Nintendo does not have, especially in that product mindshare with the consumer. It’s…
That’s just one console that they never dropped in price. They started the Wii U price where it was sold at a minimal lost or just within margin. The other consoles were sold at profit so they had wiggle room to lower the price as manufacturing reached efficiency (economies of scale). The Wii U never reached economies…
There was a bit of luck involved with the PSX becoming successful. Nintendo took too long to release their “Project REality” platform, the N64. The main problem was choice of medium. Blank carts cost $22 to manufacture with the smaller memory. CD-R blank discs were $0.22 each. Loading times argued by the internet and…
