It's good, but it's not quite Wargasm.

If that's what you choose to beleve then that's fine. But it really does not imply that.

"Part of the ecosystem" does not equal "required".

They haven't implied it won't work without it. If anything they've catagorically said it will work without it! The only thing they've implied is that the whole system is designed to be best used with Kinect included and turned on.

You are basing what is essential or not on your own specific requirements. Kinect is not the only part of the system that a set of people would not need. Some people will download all their games - they don't necessarily need a bluray drive. Some people never speak during multiplayer - they don't need a headset. Some

The Xbox One can run without a controller being on too. Should that be an option rather than included?

This reads like "gay sportsman gets recognition he deserves in game", when "game based on soap opera has gay character, nothing to see here" would be far more accurate.

Nope, that's an awesome idea. Get it done!

Personally I think this more a question of "when", not "if".

You know what? I enjoyed AC3. I'm a UK resident that is really interested in early American history, and to run around during the battle of Lexington etc. was great.

I have to admit, I thought the same. And I feel a little bit ashamed and little that I did.

Q3 never needed gimmicks to make it good. It was just raw in its combat.

If you'd bothered to read the other replies, someone also pointed that out, and for which I said "fair enough". But telling me twice really lets it sink in.

Every way apart from one. Being awesome.

Oh really? Fair enough.

Q3 > UT

You know that's happening, right?

I opened this page expecting a clicker, but alas there was not :(

Poor poor Petrov.

My favourite achievement was collecting all the skulls in Halo 3. Had there not been the achievement, I probably wouldn't have been so driven to find them all. As it was I had an awful lot of fun trying to get some that were in really inaccessible locations, that needed thought, and precise explosions to get to them :)
