Halo isn't the face of internet homophobia. It's a minority of the community you are referring to.
The only perk I enjoy is the disguise one, which changes your appearance for a short period of time. I find it immensely satisfying being chased, running round a corner, changing my appearance and calmly walking back round and past my pursuer.
If you've ever played NHL or various other frantic button-pressing games, you would know why.
I'm also from the UK, and whenever I go to the States I make sure I catch as many of his shows as I can while I have the opportunity.
Apparently the microphone/camera combination can detect the location of the voice in the room.
I've said the same thing for years after every E3. He may do an excellent job. In fact he probably does. But he does not come across well in public.
Yeah I don't get why that is. DRM is there purely to prevent piracy. It's not a game design choice, and operates on a completely separate level to the game code. Choosing to use online resources (be that multiplayer, cloud computing, stat tracking etc.) is simply not the same as DRM.
I'm afraid I disagree. Applying DRM suggests that there is no need for the game to connect to the internet in order to play, but it does so to ensure it's not an illegal copy of the game. If a game is designed to take advantage of remote server hardware, then that is a game design choice, not Digital Rights Management.
"Always online" does not equal "DRM".
Haven't you basically described quantum physics?
Using my same logic for a belief in God in some form, then yes, I do believe unicorns exist. The chances are extremely high, in fact. Whether they exist on this planet, or in this galaxy is the real question.
Ok, well ignore what you think about the language and definitions for a second, think about the logic. An "atheist" will say they don't believe in God without any proof that there isn't one. Even if they expand on that with "unless I see evidence otherwise", they are saying that right here, right now they believe that…
Theism is the belief that something does exist without the ability to prove it. Atheism is the belief that something doesn't exist without the ability to prove it.
When has Pachter ever given us a sure bet?!
Very true. Equally atheists must have faith that there is no god because by definition they can't disprove their existence.
No problem. I also identify that being religious, being arrogant, and being a complete asshole are all mutually exclusive, no matter what a lot of the internet may believe.
I'm going to go right out there and say I was raised Christian, and in my adult years, while I'm not so naive or arrogant as to say that I know exactly what's out there, or to take the Bible literally, I do choose to direct my spirituality towards the Christian faith.
Awesome.
Wait...what? You may not have liked what they had to say, or they may have been clumsy, but they have been nothing but truthful.
