As a massive Xbox fan - one who's likely to buy one as my only next-gen console, am I the only person who is taking this jab with the good humor with which it was intended.

Smooth bastard.
I see Monaco, I think F1. Got to admit, I then get a bit disappointed that it's not.
I'm sorry, but does this article really jump to another assumption based on what the purported memo doesn't say?
Matt Lucas
But apparently they know it's going to happen.
Would you mind predicting the lottery numbers for me while you've got your gateway to the future open?
What a shame. Bioshock-esque art and storytelling in a 50s alien paranoia setting...sounded all kinds of awesome to me.
So you're giving up on Xbox because Microsoft had the audacity to support many different genres, and demand a level of quality from all of them?
Made me lol.
See, IRL I know of no one who has replaced their Xbox 4 times, 3 times or even 2 times. I myself am on my second which was replaced for free after my launch one bricked. That's the same number of times I have replaced a PS3 (which I did have to pay for),
Thank you.
Isn't that the same as WiiConnect24?
Isn't it likely that this is a security feature of the dev kits?
It's all about perspective. You can create the effect with a DSLR by taking off the lens and holding it to the socket at a slight angle.
This is nothing new. I work for a big car manufacturer and there are plenty of new vehicle model examples on site taped up with loads of random stripes to prevent the styling from being exposed.
IIRC the Wii's sensor bar was required to be plugged in to use the console, but there were plenty of games that never used it (SSB, for example).
Unless you are Amazon - who offered up the WiiU at £200 for preorder before an official price, then revoked all preorders made at that price with no compensation.
That's £400 including tax. All UK prices are inclusive of tax (being a national - and extortionate - rate of 20%). I reckon that equates to an advertised price of $500 in the USA.
So basically SmartGlass, then.
