@BridgetElephonkey: i must say i'm pleased with the online access (ordering, making suggestions, paying fines, if necessary...) my library gives me.

@garbanzo-bean: you might, then, want to know how to render safe and/or unload one, no? just sayin'.

@legweak: rinsing in COLD water, immediately upon receiving the stain, is often all you need, if you can do it.

@harrellj: i suspect that throwing a spiral refers to throwing an american football - not really an essential skill (though it may prevent a certain amount of bullying, in youth, if you can stand to actually go through with it).

@pschroeter: ah, but the internet isn't always there (or you're not there with the internet, perhaps), sadly...

@Ajh: i don't even see all that many men, outside of formal occasions.

@jeffeb3: frozen soda is a slushie!

@Farinuts: psh. this is exactly the sort of thing i like covered, as i'm damned sure not going to do that research myself. bravo, lifehacker!

@ikuma: this may infuriate cafe workers, a la the "ghetto latte"!

@auld i don't believe that "equus" is scrabble legal.

@BILLIFER: unfortunately, my choice of health care providers is limited by insurance (medicare/medicaid) - in fact, i'm lucky to have care, at all (i was only recently able to get a place in a clinic with a primary care physician, after many years)... though ofttimes it doesn't feel like it.

perhaps CEO michael hyatt will hire me for a high paying position.

and excuse my ignorance of human (?) anatomy, but what IS the body part being infected, in the yeast photo? i hesitate to ask, but...

i think someone's cornered the markets on various vinegar producing fruits and vegetables, considering all the vinegar posts here, of late... and i think that "someone" is lifehacker! j'accuse!

@JOSH-S: an odd screen name for a man named joe smith, but i suppose joe smith was taken...

unfortunately, it has been my frequent experience that having info on a possible, or even ongoing, illness only incenses the doctors i see. their hubris is almost beyond belief. heaven forfend a patient should trespass on their sacred mysteries. indecipherable scripts, hack latin, and patronising pseudo-avuncularity -
