It’s part of the wall of silence. He’s calling on his friends to back him up in his shit.

LDs are legally required to be treated within special education. Families are entirely within their rights to sue if their kids needs are not being resonably met.

What the trailer made it look like was something twofold:

I feel like we need to take a good, long look at the math we expect from high school/college kids that aren’t STEM majors. I did well in math, but I haven’t used any math beyond what is currently considered to be an 8th grade level...ever. There are far more useful forms of advanced math (stats, working outside of

So, I guess Susan Collins is out talking about how she heard there was some shit in Ford’s yearbook too, repeating Alex Jones talking points attacking Ford.

Awesome!

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense.

You seem pretty aware of this controversy, so I have a question: I just...don’t get what the Ghomeshi thing had to do with books. Did he tie it in somehow? If he didn’t, that seems *really* outside the purview of the NYRB.

No, Brown Bear is still the worst. And it’s *four times* per animal. No other author is that evil. I have no clue why it’s considered a classic, when there are so many other books that are WAY more fun to read aloud out there. Kids can get necessary repetition from books that barely repeat themselves at all, because

To add to that: finding a really light facial moisturizer that doesn’t break you out and using it regularly after all the acids is also key.

Yup! Yard Sales are FULL of old phones (many with nice big, old-person/toddler-friendly buttons), keyboards, etc. You can usually just ask for them for free.

I was introduced to him in that awful fairy tale show. He was hot, and was 100% the reason I watched- left after he died.

Vin Diesel is the voice of The Iron Giant, and for that I will always love him.
