Ignore the morality of it and even just look at the logistics.  Thousands of creators spent thousands of hours crafting these characters and like actually putting in the work into the artistic and creative side while a bunch of suits reap the billions.  Doesn’t take an idiot to do the math and see that it’s unfair.
