Can we please just stop this nonsense? It seems like so many companies are going with this “C-pillar, HA! Just kidding!” look: Nissan, BMW, Chevy, now Lexus and probably some others too. If one company was doing it as a styling cue, it’d be unique, but now it’s already played out.

This picture from this angle totally made me realize that the design of this thing is basically just an Austin-Healey backwards.

Talk to me again when they actually build it. VW has a history of screwing the pooch (and their enthusiast-base) when it comes to cool concepts.

I’m a Driver Education teacher, and one of the things I always tell my students is “Never outdrive your knowledge of the road ahead.” Sounds like this guy learned that lesson the hard way.
