Well, a person who plays the Battlefield franchise, should know what kind of “fun” to expect from the multiplayer. If you want to go for realism and simulation, there’s other niche games for that.
The moment DICE announced their take on WW1 with BF1, people instantly got offended because of the subject matter. I just don’t understand how far a company has to go to not offend somebody on the internet, especially for an event that happened ~100 years ago.

This is a point for Ubisoft, EA and Activision who think they need to release a bastardized version of the same game every year. Rockstar did one game well a few years ago, and it’s still bringing home the bacon.
There is nothing wrong with backing kickstarters, but people do have to limit their expectations. It’s no different from anyone else who invests in anything ever... whether its a startup company or a game.
