I don't think Raven is choosing death. She's choosing to live her dream. The fact that the dream will kill her is secondary, as she's basically 'already dead' given the damage that's been done to her brain.

Did anyone else think that Kyle was not long for this world the moment he was introduced? I sure did.
The lovely part about that statement is the very point above that Sava talks about them hiring men with "rockin' bods". Had a reviewer said that about female actors there'd be people screaming for death with "That's misogynist!" and "Stop objectifying women!". Save would be right along with them. Now replace the word…
That was so much fun!!!
"Iron Fist raises the question, is Danny Rand the Donald Trump of superheroes?"
"My name is Barry Allen, and Congress recently passed a law allowing the Federal Government to charge me with Grand Larceny for all the oxygen I steal simply by existing. Thankfully, I suppose, I've been told that they cannot overturn the 8th Amendment, which forbids them from executing people with forms of mental…
I'm proud of the reviewer for reviewing the show and not bringing misguided identity politics into it. It allows the review to be honest about the show itself, rather than screeching over things that ultimately don't matter.
I thought it would be, given the premise and the fact that they were using standing sets, but we got:
Haven't you seen The Two Towers? Aragorn was always going to make it back to Helms Arkadia.
I remember saying out loud when Raven was floating around "Raven, you're not flying. You're having a stroke!".
He looked for things that looked important, then started following the cables.
It's a fictional television show. It's not fanning any flames. Get a grip.
The season is pretty predicable now.
Hang on…
Good God that was stupid.
This episode was the most 24-y of the season so far, with everything being predictable:
"We've made a new law that somehow and in a very non-specific and intentionally vague way deals with gun violence without in any way infringing on any 2nd amendment rights. No seriously. We have. Why are you all laughing?"
"Alex comes out to her co-workers, which is something I’d assumed had already happened."
As brought up last week, 24 has a long history of having the Muslim terrorists actually not being the main (or even real) threat. It's almost always another group behind them, usually shady American businessmen.
This has probably been up before… but Jimmy Smitts is playing Gerald McRaney's son? Did McRaney adopt him when he was 8 year's old? That's how many years separate those two.
