You're assuming the motive of the people making the show based on story being told, as if they're somehow trying to push the message that government/foreigners = bad. It's no different than saying:
'Cept 24 pre-dates all of that.
But it's… not.
"The bad guys are Islamic therefore the show is Islamaphobic!" might be one of the weirdest criticisms I've seen levelled at a TV show.
