Some of my fav quotes from this episode:

"Hex is a misogynist jerk"

There's also the Gina of it all. Gina constantly belittles Amy, and it would just be cruel if Rosa and Gina were always taking swipes at Amy (even if they'd likely do so in different and no-doubt amusing ways). Having Rosa and Amy be quirky totally different friends is a much better way. It leaves Gina to always be a

"I don’t know if anyone on the Supergirl writing staff is pulling from personal experience with Alex’s storyline, but it feels incredibly real."

Should we stop being surprised that Mick is getting so much development. From being a flame-obsessed bruiser he's really come along way, and the development he got last season was exceptionally unexpected.

Because most people are. Is this really a question?

Quentin? Prometheus? He drinks heavily and becomes a ninja? No, there's more to this. Has to be.

This was a fun episode. I too liked how Mon'el wasn't played as an asshole but rather a guy who didn't really know what he was doing and was trying to do what he thought made sense. The line about him watching a show about doctors which, to him, makes seducing Miss Tessmacher seem like the thing everyone does was

Cisco again.

Yeah, about Rip. Is he coming back? Like does anyone know for sure if Darvill is coming back?

Well I didn't expect them to go there!

No they're just tech. Cisco made them, remember?

I think Rene getting kicked out the Navy makes sense. And it's good that his plotline isn't another 'wrongly accused' situation. He just messed up, and had to live with the consequences. That said, always remember that you can't spell "dishonourable" without "honourable". :-)

Coffee was lost to the blight? Hmm… didn't that happen on Fringe? HR Wells is from the other alternate universe from Fringe!

Not if, when this is all over, he goes back a few hours after he left. Then she never would have known.

Nah you should watch it. The Hawks are always a problem (except for when Ray and her get stuck in the 50's and develop a relationship that felt real for all of an episode and a half before they ruined it), and Mick/Snart are really worth the price of admission all by themselves.

And in the Land of Sava this week:

I was wrong about Maisie Richardson-Sellers. She doesn't have chemistry with Ray. She has chemistry with -everyone-. Bringing her on the show was a great idea. And not once has she reminded us that she was once a barista! Her rampage through the ship was a lot of fun, as were her interactions with Mick.

But he's "Asian", and in the mind of a regressive like Sava being from somewhere in that region (or having ancestors from that region) makes them inherently superior, even if the cultures are completely different.

The character is white. The reviewer is Sava. Always remember that Sava is the person who once said an episode of Agent Carter was better for no other reason than it was written by two black women. It's best to ignore him when he starts blabbering about racial stuff.
