The Kia was, basically, falling down a hill (mountain), but with style. Also, I didn’t hate the automatic-manual mode, which is a big plus for any rental car.

Not giving a shit about your tires adds roughly 50% more horsepower and grip to any car. The only car that ever came up on me was a Z4, and it dropped away any time the road got twisty. I had way more fun than I should have in that box on wheels.

The regular 350z is great, which makes the convertible horrendous in comparison.

I can tell you exactly what it is. It’s that giant freakin’ deck. The 350 (and even moreso, 370) is purely designed to be a fastback look. That convertible top butchers the aesthetics beyond mention.
