David if you’re around, can you share the name of the ranch you tested at? This looks like my back yard and I’m always looking for a decent place to do some off-roading.

Can you bring it to my house? Because I live in San Antonio. I’ll make tacos. Please?
I’ll just let this picture summarize. Spoiler alert, the cows won.
This is pretty good, but meanwhile at Kia...
Those overhangs though... I much prefer the new one. Yes it still has a big rear overhang and it also appears to be impossible to see out of, but it is even more imposing and opulent than the older ones.
Yeah when the hell did they all disappear?! My 2013 Outback has one, but my 2014 Forester doesn’t. I didn’t even notice I the test drive that it was gone, I just sort of assumed it was there. Fast forward a week and the sun it out and I had a total WTF moment.
Not really a fair comparison with AutoTrader of the 200 vs. MSRP of others. A 1 minute search for Versa’s shows that they are being advertised for $9,700. Optima LX’s are on offer for under $16,000.
I can’t help but feel like this is a totally missed opportunity to start a sub-brand. I get that they want to use it as a sort-of halo car for Kia (that hasn’t really ever had one in the USA), but this just screams out for a totally new brand. Just call the brand Stinger, the model GT, and get rid of all of the KIA…
My experience with manual and automatic Cummins Rams has shown one very good need for a manual: longevity. Our automatic fleet Rams always develop shipping and hard shifting issues by 100-120k. The manuals just keep going forever, unless the drivers have no idea what they are doing and blow shifts. Maybe if Mopar…
Hopefully they make this an option with the next V60. (Or better keep stocking wagons) Having visited and driven in Europe, I love the idea of European delivery and have considered it for a Volvo or BMW... but the V90 is out of my price range. Volvo’s promotion of throwing in the plane tickets and hotel makes it even…
We put a kitten in a potato cannon. It launched intact surprisingly. Was not in one piece after landing.
Nah just one of them. If they all work, we don’t get any more crazy Jeep repair stories!
Finally
When I posted that green Juke on Oppo the other day it was $117, now it is up to $195. I should’ve rented it then. What have you all done?
You say “Si coupe with a manual” as if it were possible to get tone with an automatic. All 8th and 9th gen Civic Si’s came with a 6-speed manual in the US. Anyway, they are indeed great looking cars, even the sedans. I wasn’t a fan of the wacky dashboard at first, but it’s grown on me.
A lot of places have a cap on what they’ll let you put on a card, because they pay a % to the card processors. This dealer said I could put up to $3k on my card (well below my limit and about $1k less than I was planning to pay in cash for the down payment), so I just put $3k on.
Here’s one for $20k, is that “affordable?” It’s an NA with 125k and a salvage title, that is kinda beat up, but it is a manual. Considering I’ve seen pretty much the same models in better shape with lower miles going for $35k it seems reasonable. Anyway, they are hard to find but they are out there I think most…
One of our local news sites has a bunch of photos of the crane operation to get the vehicles out.
I live in SA. Local news report said backed up storm sewer.
