[Sees post about BOA credit card with 1.875% cash back if you have $20k+ invested at Merrill Lynch] Yeah I really should be an adult and move money sitting in my BOA checking account over to Merrill... [See’s PG’s post about the OG TT] ... [Starts browsing CL for early 2000's German cars instead] Ooh here’s a red one.…
I took one of my 0 hp death traps out to find a nice quiet spot to eat breakfast. What are we up to this fine Saturday morning?
It’s peach season! Picked these today. Om nom nom nom.
IT HAS PAISLEY SEATS. Paisley. Fucking. Seats. My pants. They are suddenly so tight.
1 of 604 made ‘95 or ‘96 VR-4 Spyder. When new these were a whopping $20k more than the already expensive for its day coupe. At the time it was the only hardtop convertible on sale in the US until the arrival of the MB SLK in 1997. Though the wheels aren’t original, this one appears to have been very well cared for…
I am a boring man spending a Saturday evening in his garage. What are we up to tonight Oppo?
This turned out great. Even my wife who is normally annoyed with my car-themed purchases loves it. Thanks!
Headed to the lake with a cheap inflatable kayak that was a Prime Day impulse buy. If I don’t post again it’s because I sank. I had to fold the end to close the hatch. It fits fine in our Outback so next weekend’s plan is to finally teach my wife how to drive a manual.
I always forget how small these things are.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a rainbow in my morning commute before. It was actually a double for a little while (pic after jump), but not while I could grab a panorama. (Full disclosure: this was actually last Thursday but Kinja are my post.)
Just saw this short course out the window on approach to DFW. From the looks of it and the surroundings it appears to be a private kart track. Anybody familiar with this or have more info? Less zoomed photos after the jump.
I’m starting to kinda like this damn thing.
Normally I’d be upset about this, but I might actually have a use for the hatch tomorrow.
There aren’t too many other airports left with outdoor gate waiting areas right on the tarmac in my experience. Also someone parked this amazing camouflage 2WD Ural out front.
Just found this relic of Daihatsu’s failed experiment of selling cars in the USA parked next to me. Last time I saw one of these outside of a junkyard was 2003.
The sun’s in the sky and I’ve got cool mountain air in my lungs, hot coffee in my cup holder, and a six speed manual transmission gear lever in my right hand. Bring on Friday.
Neighbor across the street came home with a brand new Ascent Limited. I know I am a fanboy, but I think Subaru hit it out of the park with this thing. Yes the styling is just puffed up Outback but it is handsome and the size is great. Packaging is also very clever. I want one. It reminds me a lot of the 2nd…
I need a few of these window stickers for my Subarus.
Got my Outback... back from the body shop. Looking better than it has in years because the deer was nice enough to commit suicide partly on a panel that already had a dent in it. Took a little longer than expected because once they got it apart they found that the radiator and A/C compressor were tweaked just enough…
