I think I bid on that on Ebay. I had a $5 credit as something was sent late, so went looking for cheap stuff to buy and that popped up. I think it started at $1, and I sensibly didn’t want to go past $2, but it always went for a bunch more.

I agree for some recipes it’s aesthetically pleasing to not have skins, but you can use potato peels to make broth (freeze until you’ve a bunch) or it’s an excuse to make chips as you go.
