The Abrams is pretty much invulnerable to RPGs unless they’re RPG-29s with the super new tandem warheads and hit them in the rear. The Abrams has sustained 52 hits from RPG-7s as well as multiple close range hits from Iraqi tanks during OIF.

No American operated M1 Abrams that I know of has been completely destroyed by enemy fire, they have been disabled and then destroyed by friendlies to prevent capture or destroyed by friendly fire.

Yeah the Abrams has most of its ammo stored in a separate ammo compartment with blowout doors which is extremely safe compared to the turret bustle on most Soviet/Russian tank designs. Also like you said, there are no modern MBT tanks in service with autoloaders completely separate from the crew compartment.
