If you look at the numbers, the Ecoboost is only 170lbs lighter. So about a 5% weight reduction for a 30% drop in power. So yeah, it’s slower. We all knew that.
The same guy I knew years ago that paid 10k over on 5 Miatas when they first came out
I bought the 4cyl as my everyday driver. It was roughly 10k less than the similar equipped GTs in my area, the gas mileage was much better (which is important for a daily) and honestly its quick enough. I sit in mostly stop and go traffic so barely get to experience the 310hp let alone the 460hp the GT has.
Replid wihtout spelchek
Id be happiest with a WRX competitor, doesn’t even need to be STi, Golf R, or focus RS for me. Nice looking and kinda fun while affordable is great. I love the hot hatches that can keep up with really nice sports cars but some of us are kinda poor and just want something that’s kinda fun and within budget even if it’s…

I saw what ya did there! :)
What you did there....I see it.
“making a call to our web team.”
This is really just the C wagon the US never got. The 2013+ models (interior and engine upgrades) are very high on my list for next car. These things are absolute sleepers, but nobody really knows that since people drive them so slowly around the assisted living home.
Clearly they heard about how fast I went around there last year in my 100 hp mid 70's pontiac and knew they had to take up the challenge.
I don’t watch the news - none of it is honest.
can we retire “___ gate” too?
As much as I hate to say this, I can kind of understand this after dealing with some frustrating recalls. Recalls used to be a “We are recalling this, so we will have the parts available to fix in a few days and you can get it done this week”; now it is “This is a recall, and the parts should be available in 6 months…
