Yea the new one is made in Mexico but it was made more for the US market which is why referred to it as the “American” The previous gen really felt like it was not entirely made for the US market but more brought over. If that makes sense...

I think the constant delays and setbacks of the introduction killed it more than anything. I LOVE a good CC (VR6 Executive) and I was excited about the Arteon, but once I saw the car in person I was genuinely bummed out. Plus only one engine option (iirc) really sealed it for me.
