You can write a critical mission statement about it like Steve Park and never get a job in Hollywood again!

People forgot that Pravda translates as “the truth”. And remember who Pravda worked for!
Early F22 flight. Pilot stuck in cockpit due to mechanical issue. No easy quick release lever for these birds.
The MAGTF demo at air shows wouldn’t be so fun without the fixed wing CAS. Oh snap. MAGTF = combined arms.
You must not know anything about your own military culture then. The U.S. military inherited many of its cultures and traditions from the Brits. Remember we were a colony? For a Brit to forget his own incredibly influential and powerful military culture that once painted most of the world red with blood seems kind of…
Now we know why Gov Onaga and the anti-base protests are backed by the Japanese communist party. Those dirty Reds!
I think the IOC goal was always there. It was a contest between which legacy platform looked in worse shape - Hornets are up against FLE and flight hours limit. Harriers have their parts issues. After the Brit buy it was supposed to be Hornets sundown first. DC Avn changeover then it reversed. I can’t recall the…
The Brits sold us all their remaining airframes and parts and we still have parts shortages. The other countries have minuscule numbers. Ask Rolls Royce. Supporting a unique engine for a relatively small number compared to their commercial accounts is not so appetizing. Believe companies have declined bid…

Phrogs Phorever!
IIRC the only one to crash in the water was at HMX during early testing in the Potomac by Brown Field. People really need to get over the perceived unsafe aspects. It has been a safe platform for many years now.
This artistic flash game covered all these issues a while ago.
They were at the end of their 6 month UDP in Okinawa and got extended to do this Humanitarian mission. Semper Fi.
I'm showing my age but when my dad was getting his masters from Pratt he brought me along. I remember he was making punch cards and taking them to the computer room to get his program "run". The classrooms overlooked a pit that housed one of the old steam engines shown. As my dad always said "more steam - more power!"
Could be worse...
Probably for the same reason Switzerland is heavily armed. They are isolated and alone and very small. I think they like to present a strong defense as deterrence against anyone.
I took some pics the other day with an Instax and kids were so excited to actually get a hard copy photo! It was funny to see their reaction because they've only grown up seeing pics on their phones.
