The automaker anticipates that customers would be willing to spend as much as $135 a month on various subscriptions

Judge Harry Stone: “Sir, why did you beat up a mime and steal his hat full of change?”

I feel like in this market, if you’re price sensitive, you’re only shopping because you NEED a car. Like your old one is dead. If that’s the case and you’re not able to afford the 2022 CRV of your dreams, why not buy the 2012 CRV of your “lets just get a car that works for right now” reality or some other Cash car

Airlines used to have metal templates at boarding gates to test luggage; if it didn’t fit, it got gate checked. They need to go back to this. I was on a flight a few weeks ago and was flabbergasted at the size of some of the “carry ons” that people were trundling down the gangway onto the plane.

Please refrain from utterly whiny, stupid blog posts like this. I don’t even use overheard storage (I either travel light or check my bags), but this is some grade A level hissy fitting. You don’t sound patient at all.

Sometimes, we will let you see it so you know it is there watching you. When you don’t want people to know, they just turn off the plane on the site.

I wonder which GOP fuck will publicly say that Loving v Virginia was incorrectly ruled and marriage between the races should be a state’s rights issue? Because we all know it’s coming — and probably before the 2024 election.

Never Underestimate the Lug-Nut Rule.

I haven’t programmed seat memory to the fobs on my Outback as its just easier to press the button. Also I have PTSD from the time my old BMW crunched me into the dash when I had my wife’s key...

I was gonna say that my dad would’ve called this Dipshit Kid Protection, but it in reality it would’ve been Quit With The Goddamn Seat Buttons, Dipshit warning before the system locked itself out

I mean, aside from the anti-semitism of the comment, he is an absolute fucking moron. Does he actually think Jews were allowed to hide during WWII or that it was easy to hole up in a building for years at a time or cross into Switzerland? If it were so easy 6 million people wouldn’t have let themselves get killed.

“There’s the dark side of the ‘80s... Reagan, trickle-down economics, the cocaine crisis... rampant racism,” Chan said. “There was so much nastiness, but that’s a given with any decade! We have that crap now!”

You’re right. The PR is too good for them. They shouldn’t do anything that benefits them in any way. Fuck this kid, I don’t want him to get the car because I don’t want the dealership to get anything positive out of it.

Regardless of their motivations, it’s nice to see they did the kid a solid.

And of course, the local news will run a feature on this. People tune out most commercials but pay attention to the local features.

Yeah, give the PR guy a raise. This was probably cheaper than buying a TV ad and I’m sure will sway a lot more buyers to shop at their dealership instead.

Let’s not kid ourselves that this isn’t (at least in large part) an opportunity for good PR for Frank Kent MC.

Still, motives aside, good on them for stepping in to help out.

I want to see a Christmas movie where the boyfriends/girlfriends/fiance’s who was dumped find each other in the big city and bond based on that.

Once knew a bachelor who owned a Porsche...and a Pinto, for dates, for just that reason.

Long ago when I was dating - before meeting my wife in 2006 - I would always take my crappiest vehicle to whatever date I was going on.  If you want me because of my car, I sure as hell don’t want you.
