Read my previous response, but the gist is, alot of Russians/Ukrainians/Eastern Europeans who where born in the 90's. Alot of them moved to my town in the late 90's, our schools litterally have the exit signs in English and Russian

Not even remotely. There’s isn’t a single democrat calling for the nationalization of production or an abandonment of capitalism. Even Bernie wants a Danish style system, not a Soviet one. I’m no Bernie guy, but take a look at Denmark and then tell me how much this example applies there.
Outside of pensioners in Russia who long for better pension, who exactly is saying the USSR was great? I certainly haven’t heard any Americans saying so.
Not even the furthest left Democrats want a socialization of all (or even any) production. Short of the CPUSA (which has maybe a couple thousands members), nobody is calling for this.
Yes, they were awful. Fuel efficiency? LOL! reliability? You better carry tons of water in the trunk for the inevitable overheating. I hope you like the smell of car exhaust because it fills the whole cabin.
I caught the tail end of this. I remember shortly after the fall of the USSR my dad went to Germany to get a w123 200D. It was quieter, more comfortable, had burgeois features like power steering, and it was FASTER (72HP vs 65 i think) than the GAZ2401 (kinda fancy by soviet standards) he was upgrading from. The…
Jesus Christ...
We had Lada’s in Canada in the 80's and early 90's, so I can speak by experience. My uncle also happened to own a Signet for a short period (i.e. until car died)
Really? There are people who want a state-owened means of production in the US? I guess “there are people” is a pretty low bar, but there’s certainly no significant political presence in the US that is seeking this state of affairs.
Just slightly below Cadillac Cimarron, or just above the Trabant, if you’re using metric.
Were the cars really that bad? I mean, on a scale of Lucas electrics to Maserati Bi-turbo, where did Soviet cars fall?
I’m sure I am far from the only person that thinks this, but why in the hell isn’t Land Rover trying to refresh and redesign the defender, throw some leather on it, mark the shit up to about 130k, and make it a G Wagon competitor. Because rich ass people love this shit and they will definitely buy it.
Don't you mean "Mustang Corral legislation"?
Of course the driver was uninjured; Mustangs are specifically designed so that the driver will be safe and the car operational while Mowing down droves of pedestrians no matter how much damage the car incurs. It’s how you get high score!
