Funnily enough, this is straight up true. I ditched WoW after Blizzchung and just wound up in XIV because I like Final Fantasy games and wanted a new MMO to try out. They weren’t courting players or trying to lure in scores of new folks, it just kind of happened.

I’m waiting for one of these companies to start banning the accounts of people who feel the need to be abusive. Feedback is good, but abuse should be grounds for “you aren’t the kind of customer we want.”

I mean, nothing gives you the right to attack someone online because of trivial matters. You can have a discussion about those topics without trying to hurt the other person as well.

I hate that the internet gives perceived anonymity so people don’t think to check themselves before they spew vitriol.

Seriously, folks. Just don’t be a dick.  It’s not a high bar, but a lot of people seem incapable of clearing it.
