No, LostMyBurner is referring to the fact that Tesla open-sourced their Supercharger standards. If VW wanted to build cars with Tesla style connectors and build their own VW branded Superchargers, they could do that without a single dime to Tesla.

Congrats on your choice and being open minded, the only thing thatreally throws the interior of KIAS is that big round center on thesteering wheel and huge KIA logo. Long term I do like the Hyundai’s we got recently mostly because of the value and also because of the dealer. No matter what brand of car you choose it’s

The Chevy is the winner here, but even if their prices on paper put them over $30,000, I wouldn’t rule out another Camry or Accord just yet. Remember sedan sales are slow right now, so with some solid negotiations combined with factory rebates you might be able to get those imports below your threshold.

Yes you get more options and features with. Hyundai. Since 2015 they are on par or better than the Japanese cars. An additional part of the equation is the dealer network and their service, our dealer is by far one of the best of any brand and any location in the state. I think long term you will see Hyundai overtake

Simply because I love my heated steering wheel and Android Auto. Hyundais are better kitted than a Subaru, or pretty much anything at their price.

Nothing wrong with the rug. It really assimilates the room together.

Why would VW merge with FCA? They’d get almost nothing out of that and there’d be massive incompatibility between the two companies in terms of design, branding, manufacturing, and quality.

$1500? Man, your coworkers got ripped off.

Bubba, when I took my oath of allegiance, I didn’t have to offer fealty to the President. But I did have to affirm this:

You got it....Let’s see how the GT shakes out once the production version drops. Hyundai/Kia have a habit of making cool performance cars on paper, but don’t really pan out when you drive them.

IDK, the Wagoneer was always an RR competitor back in the day and the Grand Cherokee is very competitive today with not only 4Runner type SUVs, but also upper level SUVs like a Toureg, XC90, X5, etc. I don’t see any reason why, it wouldn’t do well against an RR, it’s not like either company can brag about heritage,

Well, the one I worked at operated like a glorified buy-here-pay-here, and basically catered to those sorts of customers. They were happy to get approved for a new Kia or a used whatever, so they put up with all sorts of abuse. But anyone who had good credit or cash and was in the position to shop elsewhere...did.

Man, if it took him 22 times to graduate I guess he really worked for it. :D

Ironically, Hyundais are no longer “cheap” and their rivals are hardly “far superior” - you must be remembering the 1990s Hyundai. Current Kia/Hyundais are quite impressive in terms of both quality and features. Yes, Toyota is still superior to Hyundai, is that who you’re comparing?

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

People need to stop with this shit. My dad is going to start expecting my brother and I to restore some old Bronco and it ain’t happening.

Most people that buy BMW buy it for the BMW name badge so they could brag that they drive a BMW. “I drive a Kia” just doesn’t have the same ring to it. That’s how it will always be. BMW could build a car with a quality of a Lada and it would still be more desirable than a Kia that’s built like a Rolls Royce. The sad

ps.. were you ever able to resolve? If so, how?

I got the same message today. They said they couldn’t do any anything about it and that they would refer it to IT and just to keep trying every few days. WTF? Worst customer support I have ever experienced.

Maybe you own an high-strung Italian for 4 months, and then buy mindlessly reliable Japanese for the next 4 decades.
