A 30K Kawasaki has a lot of technology and speed behind it. Same with Ducs and BMWs. Lighter and easier to ride than these beasts that got an inch more of travel.

I got two bikes in the garage that were about $27K. People are going from cruisers to adv bikes and for 27K... You can get one of the most advanced bike(s) on the market. Still people don't have that kind of money laying around to spend on toys..
I used to be in that camp of “loud pipes” bs. 2 years of riding my Victory..I out on pipes that sound good (factory ) and I wear a neon yellow full face helmet with all the gear.. jacket... Gloves.... The works...
Modern cars have tons of insulation from outside..even 20K KIAs have acoustic glass that make the cabin ultra quiet... And that's not how sound works at all..
Ill pick one up on 3 years for 40k, because all the Porsche heads will move on to the next status symbol.
I would like to thank God and my class standing for taking advantage of those lesser than me and enabling me such treatment because of the money that the place I work for grifts from others they sell this snake oil to. More for me..I mean.. Thank you God.
Ive had the digital subscription for at least the last 2 years. I didn’t read them that much, but I wanted to support a magazine that brought me some great articles whenever I did read them. I was surprised to get a notification that my Kindle subscription was cancelled. Sad panda.
Oh when I saw that they’re going to be announcing something that will help the people of Florida... I was content to think that it was going to be something that would curtail the school shootings... but then I remembered that the GOP is in charge of Florida political landscape.... to which they only care about…
Its just not pleasant to use the tablet for reading for all the reasons mentioned above... Battery, eye strain, and outdoor usability.
That’s the thing.... this is the first American car I’ve owned.
I had a 11 year old VW Rabbit.... great car... it just had issues from day 1. Not starting, not shifting into gear... leaking oil.
Got a model S last year ... Less issues than any German car I've had in the last 15 years.
Thought as much.... Let me know when we get a worthy Passat to have a “Dasher” trim.
Wait....... are we going back to the name “Rabbit” again? What is this witchcraft?
buying a car for resale value is the wrong reason to buy a car. As you know Tom (back in 2016 when we talked) it took me about 6 hrs to replace my TDI for a car that I could 1) afford 2)keep 3)Reliable to keep for a long period of time.
A lot of cities are attempting to stimulate this and push for EVs in garages. I know a lot of places in NYC offer EV charging with paid parking.. be it weekly or monthly... It'll take time to catch up
I agree with you. We also bought the car because we were due, not because we wanted it. I do drive a lot and if I was in the city or had a shorter commute.. I wouldn’t be buying a car with that price point or would take public transportation. After all the most environmental friendly thing you can do is not buy a car.
.... And the monthly payment that people are talking about for regular cars is the out the door price, not including constant maintenance and fueling costs. I bought mine last year and the cost to run it (total cost) are almost as the Stinger GT2 costs... Not including the maintenance and failure of parts. Currently…
Fuel Economy [check]
Tesla owner here. If you slow down and keep slowing down, the car will slow and then stop, while the system would tell you "confirm lane change", it won't do it by itself.. it'll stay in the same lane forever .
