I get that. The original post wasn’t supposed to be taken seriously...it was the “I thought you were American, in American, built by Americans, in America” post. The way the supply chains have been established, it is virtually impossible to have anything 100% made in a single country. Even Japanese bikes have things that are not made in Japan,even small pulleys that are part of assemblies are probably sources from outside of the supply company.
a guy who doesn’t get thrills from the TT anymore... what’s next? He’s going to attempt to ride his bike from Earth to the Sun, withstanding gravitational pull....he’ll succeed...as usual...

That’s probably what he’s going for as an individual, but these companies could have jumped at the chance for free publicity..even if he doesn’t like their bikes. I for once as a veteran stay out of the limelight...after all...it’s just a job like every other.
