When we’re in the market for a new car, we’ll have to go and test drive. I’m being more sensual and want something that can carry a family without being too bulky and can handle corners well... My wife on the other hand has the “Need SUV” mentality...I’ll have a hard time fighting it when the time comes.

I don’t know about “people” but there’s always the one-off’s... like my wife’s VW 2007 Rabbit.... it’s at 130k miles and we haven’t had major issues besided the usual wear and tear...it’s a “one off” of a “reliable VWs

Being that it’s a Golf...it’s probably going to be 25-30k. I believe the Outback will be a bigger car for hauling family around.

with WRX and STI....Subaru is a cheaper and more reliable brand...and this comes from a guy who has 2 VWs parked in the driveway...One of them being a Diesel...and the other being a Rabbit ( I know I know...pretty boring)

possibly.... but with Toyota and Honda moving away from beige...and VW being the “people’s car” I think they should leave the upmarket to Audi... Skoda will never come to US under that name, it will cost them millions of dollars to certify it. I say, create a sub brand of VW or different model designation and save on…
