Great, now the GOP is going to get a hold of your statement, and they’re going to sell it to the coal country “See, they want to kill all of you”

I can make a shopping list at Home Depot and have all that stuff delivered to my house for less than 30 bucks. I can always also rent a van for 19.99 a day from U-Haul, use the internet to have someone pick all the things from the shelves in Home Depot and spend less than 6hrs loading/unloading. With a Truck, yes I

As an owner of a hatchback VW and a sedan TDi, I kind of hate you right now. Not too much, but just enough.

The Subaru dealer near me told me he was selling Outbacks on the phone, before they were even unloaded from the truck. Buyers would ask for the Vin#, options and color, then they’d buy and come to pick up either the day of (to see their car being unloaded) or the day after the dealer took delivery.

Have you seen how the used market treats Outbacks and STis? I was looking at used Outbacks just for giggles, and man, even with 20k on the odometer, it commands almost MSRP. Used STi’s are commanding unicorn status, if you can find one that is decent, it probably won’t last long. The thing with used MBs is that after

I wear my gloves 100% of the time when on bike, and there’s nothing that’s more important than making it home alive, or making it to that rest stop to make that phone call or to take that phone call. I didn’t invest in the bluetooth enabled helmet or speaker system, because well... the point of motorcycling is to

As a Eastern European refugee, now American veteran, I usually go to baseball games because I want to eat overpriced food and drink cheap domestic beer for extravagant prices, also for the 7 inning stretch to go pee all that coors light out....

People that buy Subarus are usually not slaves to one brand. They usually cross-shop and cross-compare Subaru lineup with everyone. Subaru hits just about everything that people look for: price point, reliability, availability, and maintainability. You want a reliable, capable SUV that doesn’t guzzle gas? I know

Jeep Grand Cherokee in Diesel flavor.....you can get one for about 40ish or so new.....

Car tires are about 500 or so miles to make sure that the oil wears off... Motorcycle tires are about 200 or so miles... some go as far as 1000 miles to be sure. So for the “break in period”, you shouldn’t be doing wheelies...

There is no official recall, and until that happens and states instituate their emissions controls she can’t be denied a sticker. VW has that new website (forgot the link) and one of the FAQs addresses this issue.

I got a 2013 Passat TDi, and as much as I waved the TDi Flag proudly for the last 3 years of ownership, and being that this was my 3rd VAG vehicle...I don’t think I can go back to that dealership and give them more money....I do hope that for the next 7 years (this was planning to be my 10 year car) they do something

Would this be considered as a Final Solution for VW’s DieselGate?

GOPs stance on Foreign Policy has been always this: “We need countries to respect us again, we need to go to war with everyone who is not like us, and put a fear of GOD into their population”. Economics: “As long as I get mine, fuck everyone else.”

Are you suggesting something close to the TDIed Wedding?

Seems to me that EA189 Gen 1 is the one that’s cheating, being that it has no Urea after treatment... but I don’t blame them... check everything...

Wouldn’t it be correct to say “buy a non-compliant TDI”. Being that TDI owners are religious to a fault (guilty)...they’d actually do research. From what I understand it’s the 1st Gen EA 189 engines. 2012-2013 Passat TDI’s sport a 2nd Gen engine, and I think all VW Golfs, Jettas, Bug, hav ethe urea after treatment

I have the 2013 TDI....so...I’ll wait until 2023 when the TDI will be available.

Earlier in the year I had my 13 flashed with new ECU update that didn’t allow the turbo to be fully engaged when it was extremely cold, and fixed some emissions stuff.... so it looks like VW is taking a hit, but your car might just get flashed and you might lose ~3mpg. I’m disappointed that someone at VW thought this

Does it have Urea after treatment? I think you should be good... my 2013 Passat is not a culprit...except it’s no where near what a passat should be...but it’ll do.
